Ten on Ten: December

This month’s Ten on Ten is a bit of a whirlwind of random movement across Paris. At the beginning of the month, I found out that I need to move at the end of December (instead of the end of January, as planned). Cool. Great. Oh, what’s that? The only apartments available are either the size of a fish bowl or cost more than a small island? No problem! On top of the insane rent, you also need me to pay a thousand euro agency fee to cover all your hard work (posting an ad online with no punctuation and 2 blurry pictures)? My pleasure! No, no, please don’t bother answering your phone. Playing hard to get will only make me want that apartment even more!

On top of all that fun stuff, I’ve also had to go round and round with the administration in Paris and Grenoble. And the cherry on the insanity Sundae is that I also have to run home to let potential buyers visit my current apartment (which my landlord is trying to sell for an extremely unreasonable price).

Anyway, all that is just a little background information so that you get an idea of why this Ten on Ten is a bit less happy-go-lucky than the rest.
