One of my favourite places

This place (the Canadian Museum of Civilization) deserves its own post. Right across the River from Parliament Hill is one of the coolest museums that I’ve ever been to. Not only does it have amazing architecture, but it also has a winding passageway that takes you through Canadian history via full scale streetscapes. You begin by walking through a ship carrying vikings to the New World and end in a arctic log cabin diner. Even the ceiling is made to look like the sky (and not a lame sky either!), giving the whole trip a very “real” feel.
